Looks like I get to bust the cherry on the new catagory.   Cheesy

I have a 3rd gen Trans Am, and recently I cut out the sheet metal behind the two front vents.  There is a few inches between the hood and the top of the radiator when it's closed, plenty of room for fresh air to get to the carb.  It didn't weaken the integrity of the hood any because there are still brackets on either side that I didn't cut.

I don't mind at all George, and thanks for the compliments.  I know it looks a little rough around the edges. I still need to smooth and shape the edges to make it look better.  I've been so busy getting ready for the first track visit of the season that it has taken a back seat to everything else.  I'll update the pic when it's finished.

Great looking car, i hope i can get mine something relatively close to that eventually

i picked up mine for 400 bucks so you know theres a lot to work on
