If you are ever in the mood to rebuild your engine, stray away from flat top pistons and get the pop up pistons instead,they are more durable and better for higher rpms.
This is what i have learned personally from rebuilding my own engines.
If you have the means put in a steel crank rated for ten thousand rpms,you will be happy if you do. Cheesy
