new to the site i just bought a 80 TA and a buick 455 engine what all do i need to make this combination work, has the original 301 I need more power and for the price of the 455 just couldn,t say no. Looking to put headers intake and carb on this. thanks

Too bad it's not an Olds 455 as it was a factory installed option. The trans should bolt right up and other than working out the mounts, it should be an easy swap. Good luck, and let us know what all you run into. I personally would go back with a poncho powerplant as I feel that is what makes the car....but just mho.
