ok you know you have your keys in the ignition and you open the door and that horrable annoying noise comes on BING BING BING BING :angry: ok well i have searched and i cant find where it is coming from so i cant dismantle the speaker thing please someone put as stop to it i have a 1997 Firebird please help me find it i cant find it in the repair manual or anything i cant figure it out thanks

Not sure on your car but on many GM's I have worked on in the past, they are near the steering column under the plastic cover panel above the gas and brake pedal. It was usualy a black plastic box a couple inches in size and maybe an inch thick.
