91 Firebird Talking Down To Me.

Hey guys I just came on here to prove my friend wrong. He has a 1991 firebird 2.8 I believe and an auto. Now this guy claims to have beaten a z-28 and all of these other cars that I know are way faster than his. Then I was telling him about my car (1990 quad 442) and how it has 180 hp stock. Then he goes on and says he has about 220, I looked at him and said you'd be lucky to have 145. Well this got him mad and now he wants to race me. Now I don't condone street racing but I just have to shut this guy up once and for all. So what do you all think. 1991 firebird 2.8 auto vs 1990 Quad 442 2.3l 5 speed. Thanks in advance.
