I am at the end of my patience.  I blew up my Optical spark sensor by getting it wet while the engine was running.  I have replaced the entire distributor and now the car chugs and thumps like its out of timing.  I have quadruple checked the plug wires and they are correct.  I know that the ECM computer controls the timing.  I guess what i am asking is "Has this ever happened to anyone where the optispark blew and took out the computer aswell.  Please if anyone can me get my 94 formula back on the road again I would be greatly appreciative.  Thank you.
