I am the original owner of a '67 FB400 survivor w/ 10,000 miles. Even when the car was new, the filler panels for the radiator had a less than perfect paint job. Over the years I've thought about repainting them, but didn't know what to use that wouldn't be too flat or too shiney. Years ago a friend used a bbq grille paint that looked very similar to the original GM. What's out there now that doesn't look out of place?

Hi Jim and welcome to the forums. Seems the forums have pretty much died over the last couple years. I am once again considering taking them down.

As for your paint question, I think it best to go to some local paint centers and have a look at what would be close. Either that or a proffesional auto paint center could give the best suggestion. If you find a suitable replacement, please post back for anyone else that wanders by with the same question Wink
